CX-DH801U is extremely compact and will fit in many glove compartments or even
under a seat, so you're not limited to using the trunk for installation as is
the case with some less-compact CD changers. Installation is further simplified
since you can mount it upright, horizontally, or at three more selectable
angles.
The
laser pickup in this DVD/CD Changer adjusts its elevation to accurately read
single layer and dual layer type discs.
The
CX-DH801U boasts a high-precision 96kHz/24-bit D/A converter. According to
digital audio theory, high frequency reproduction is limited to half the
sampling frequency used for recording. Therefore, the frequency response of
linear PCM audio in some DVD Videos can potentially extend all the way up to
48kHz (half of 96kHz). While humans cannot hear sounds above 20kHz, very high
frequency overtones may influence how we hear the details in audible sounds,
such as the crash of cymbals.
Thanks
to this DVD/CD changer's floating suspension, there's no need to worry about
annoying disc skipping. The critical laser pickup and disc loading mechanism is
isolated in a floating suspension, with two suspension coils and four
rubber-plus-silicone dampers helping to absorb external vibrations.
No
more unnecessary pauses when you've got empty disc trays. Instead of trying to
access a non-existent disc, this CD changer learns which slots are empty and
will automatically skip over them, accessing only the CDs that are actually
loaded.
This
