| Overview:
The Pioneer CD-RB20 adapter allows you to
add an auxiliary input to your Pioneer changer-controlling receiver and retain
the use of your Pioneer CD changer. The CDRB20 accepts your IP-Bus changer cable
and a patch cable from your auxiliary source (cassette, MP3, Minidisc, etc.) and
allows your Pioneer receiver to play back either source. The auxiliary source
must have a volume control or an output voltage of 1 volt or less.
Features:
- aux in stereo RCA inputs
- P-Bus input and output with a 36"
IP-Bus cable to connect to the receiver
- 3-1/2"W x 1/3/16"H x 5"D
- 1-year
warranty.
This unit allows you to input any device with
RCA outputs PLUS retain a P-Bus CD changer on any Pioneer head unit, except the
KEH-P1010, with an IP-Bus connection. The unit has the following inputs and
outputs: Attached P-Bus input which is attached to the P-Bus of the head unit A
P-Bus output where the P-Bus changer is connected (if one is being used) One set
of L & R RCA inputs to connect another unit, such as a Tape walkman or
portable CD player.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The device connected to the RCA ins must
either have an output voltage of 1 volt or less or have a volume control so that
its output can be lowered. Without this the unit will distort and/or be
damaged.
2. If the CD changer and the other input source are played
simultaneously, output from both will be heard, so only one source should be playing at
the same time
3. The head unit will not control power to the input source using
the RCA inputs, so that unit will have to be turned on/off by the user
Features:
- Auxiliary Input Adaptors RCA for IP-Bus
Headunits with IP-Bus Throughput
- Allows connection of an external RCA signal
to any IP bus P series Pioneer source unit.
